Andi came to Bluff in 2002 as an archaeologist working primarily on the Navajo Nation. In 2005 she started Comb Ridge Coffee at the historic Comb Ridge Trading Post in front of the cottages. During an adventure streak, she met Kelly at the Grand Canyon South Rim while waiting tables at the El Tovar Hotel. Kelly, a builder and very capable Green Mountain boy, transformed that little coffeeshop into Comb Ridge Bistro, a beautiful fine dining restaurant. Having retired from the restaurant business in 2017, Kelly and Andi now split their time between Bluff and southern Vermont.
The cottages were built with love by Kelly and Navajo artist, handyman extraordinaire and friend Denny Bellson. Denny’s wife Pat is an incredible housekeeper with great attention to detail. Her work at the cottages makes for a cozy and exceptionally clean stay in Bluff.
